Champion Map Level Guide
Heyho, in this guide I show you my level way and best possible suggestions from level 150 to ChampLv.30. It is quite possible that there are different variants, but if you follow this guide, you will master the way to ChampLv.30 relatively relaxed.
Spoiler: It will take many hours to complete.
Anyone can be pulled up!
This is a guide for doing it yourself!

Preparation
Before you start leveling, it is important to take the time to prepare some things. The subspecies of monsters on all champ maps are: Lightning or Ice. They do not have a class.
-
Equipment
You should not miss the following bonuses in the EQ:
- Helmet: Lightning Resistance +20%
- Armor: Lightning Resistance +20%
- Bracelet: Lightning Resistance +20%
- Belt: Lighting and Ice Resistance +20%
- Rings: Power of Lighting and Ice +20% / Strong against All +5%
These are just additional bonuses. It is not enough to have only these bonuses in EQ.
The EQ should be +- to your level. -
7th & 8th Bonuses in EQ
There are some 7th & 8th bonuses, my recommendation in the whole PvM area:
Strong against Monsters 10% + Attackvalue +15
(7th & 8th bonuses are usable and switchable in the whole EQ except in Belts and Rings.)
-
Jewels and Protective Jewels for Rings
There are Jewels and Protective Jewels for your Rings, which are useful for you on the ChampMaps:
- Jewel of Lighting
- Jewel of Ice
- Protective Jewel of Lighting
- Protective Jewel of Ice
Jewels will bring you power +
Protective Jewels will bring you resistance +
Jewels and Protective Jewels can be upgraded to +4.In general, whether it's a weapon, armor, helmet or other, make sure you put useful Jewels in all possible parts. (The Jewels that are available in Seishin since 07/15/22 are especially useful, for example, Jewel of Metinstones.)
-
Dragon Stone Alchemy
The Dragon Stone Alchemy is very strong and you will not want to do without it. Please make sure you have your Dragon Stone Alchemy completely finished before you start leveling on the ChampMaps on your own.
You can find more about the Dragon Stone Alchemy here in the guide from RussischBr0t: Dragon Stone Alchemy Guide
-
Pets
Pets are of a great advantage.
- Pet: Baby Dragon (Lightning Resistance)
- Pet: Baby Nemere (Ice Resistance)
For the pet, the "Type" makes the strength, but that doesn't make a very big difference. If you have one from "Type: 8", that's already very good.
There are also pet costumes. The bonuses are mostly Strong against Monsters +20% and Life +1500.
You can find more about pets here in the guide from proton: Pet Guide
-
Mounts
Mounts make it a lot easier for you. You can decide for yourself what is best for you.
- Are you satisfied with your damage? Take the Ice Storm Lion from the General Store.
- You would like to do more DMG on Metin Stones or Monsters? Take a Metinstone or Monster Mount.
Mounts can have these bonuses:
- Strong against Monsters +X% / Attackvalue +X
- Strong against Metinstones +X% / Attackvalue +X
- Strong against Monsters +X% / EXP+ X% / Attackvalue +X
- EXP +X%
More about mounts you can find here in the guide from proton: Mount Guide
Bonus Experience Points (Luxury)
You can simplify/speed up leveling with several options.
-
Experience Ring
- You will gain 50% more experience points for 60 minutes through this ring.
-
Potion of wealthy experience
- Works like the experience ring, except that you also double your gold drop and it lasts for 2 hours.
You can wear the Experience Ring and the Potion at the same time. So its like you are wearing 2 Experience Rings at the same time.
-
Experience Potion(S)
- This potion gives you an additional +100% experience points and lasts for 60 minutes.
-
Experience Potion(M)
- This potion gives you an additional +150% experience points and lasts for 60 minutes.
-
Experience Potion(B)
- This potion gives you an additional +200% experience points and lasts for 60 minutes.
You can combine any Experience Potion with the Rings, but not with another Experience Potion.
-
Potion of Champions(K)
- With this potion you gain 50% more champion experience in one hour.
-
Potion of Champions(M)
- With this potion you gain 100% more champion experience in one hour.
You can combine any Potion of Champion with Experience Potions and Rings, but not with another potion of champion.
-
Fire Phoenix Seal
- A pet that gives you 10% chance of EXP bonus in addition to Strong against Monsters and Life. (Expires after 7 days.)
You can perfectly combine the Fire Phoenix with your EQ. Chain, Shield and Shoes give you the option to switch in 30% Chance of EXP Bonus as bonuses. Combined with the fire phoenix, you get 100% chance of EXP bonus.
-
VIP-Feature
- An item store item that gives you +20% Strong against Monsters, +50% EXP and + 30% Chance of double Item drop after activation. (Expires after 7, 14 or 30 days.)
The VIP feature can be combined with all other EXP bonus items.
-
Group bonus
- A group of 2 or more members gives an additional 100% EXP bonus.
If you are not in a group, you will receive the same bonus as if you were in a group.
Important note regarding the group bonus!
Everyone has a different opinion about this.
"I get less EXP when there are more than 5 people in the group" is something you will also hear at some point or even already think.
That is not so! The EXP does not divide among group members!
Each player gets a basic experience of monsters, on which he gets the bonus % calculated.
- A group of 2 or more members gives an additional 100% EXP bonus.
SungMa Will/Curse & Talismans
-
What is the SungMa Curse?
The SungMa Curse has a negative effect on all your stats.
Spoiler: You can completely ignore INT in the greater whole.
The SungMa Curse is effective on every ChampMap and in every ChampDungeon.
- VIT: halves the HP.
- INT: halves the recovery effects (e.g. HP Absorb.).
- STR: halves the DMG.
- RES: halves the resistances and defenses. (You receive double damage.)
-
Where do I find the SungMa Curse?
Den SungMa-Fluch findest du bei der Auswahl der ChampMap im Teleportationsmenü.
For example, you go to Northwind Canyon and see the curse under the "Type of Map:" option. -
What is the SungMa Will?
The SungMa Will is the counterpart to the SungMa Curse.
With the SungMa Will, you can lift the SungMa Curse.
To lift the SungMa Curse on the map, you must have a SungMa Will that is greater or equal to the curse in question.
-
How do I get SungMa-Will points?
You have 3 options to obtain SungMa-Will points.
I recommend: Use all of them as best as possible!
-
Option 1: Leveling
- Every 25% of a Champlevel, you will be given 1 SungMa-Will point. That means: Every total level you get 4 SungMa-Will points. (You can think of this as status points.)
-
Option 2: Costumes
- You can use Green Strength to add up to 4 bonuses to your head, body or weapons costume. With Green Magic you can switch the bonuses. You can get each SungMa will in each costume with up to 5 points. That means: 15 SungMa-Will points are possible per costume.
- You can also get some SungMa Bonuses in your Pet Costume and your Mount up to 3 Bonuses max. For this u need Pet or Mount Snacks and Water.
-
Spoiler for Option 2
- 15 SungMa Will points are very difficult and very unrealistic to get, if then only by luck. Every point is important at the beginning. Should you get to the count of 10 points in one costume, be happy. 😊 (INT excluded, no one wants it.)
-
Option 3: Talismans
- There is also a talisman for each SungMa will.
- You can't combine every talisman with every Talisman. (STR clashes with RES; VIT clashes with INT) That means: You can only take two of them as help, STR or RES and VIT (INT is not a option!)
- You can upgradeevery Talisman to +10. (However, it is not easy.)
- Do not create Talismans for yourself at the Talisman dealer.(Way too expensive.) Look around the market, hope for the right talisman from a Chest of Talisman or ask a player. (Many players still have some lying around and sell/give them away.)
-
-
Talismans
Besides VIT, INT, STR and RES - Will Talisman, there are also other talismans that are very useful:
- Lighting or Ice Talisman (clashes with each other) – Gives you +X power against Lightning or Ice.
- Defensetalisman – +X% Resistance against Monsters and Boss attacks.
- Attacktalisman – +X% Strong against Metinstones and Bosses.
You don't have to lift every SungMa Curse. Basically, lifting STR and RES will be enough for you to be able to level without any problems. A nice addition is VIT.
(WeSu are a case in point. They can probably manage to level great with only the STR Curse lifted.)
Northwind Canyon (Beginning)
When you have completed all or many of the important preparations, you will be ready to level on your own.
How you level is very simple from scratch, it will just be tedious.
You start on the map "Northwind Canyon" with level 150.
You get on your mount and start destroying Metinstones.
You will notice that the level-up from level 150 to champion level 1, happens already after the first death of a monster.
While you hit the metin, pull the mobs around you with your cape as well.
You do this now until Champ Lv.5.
More mobs = More EXP = Faster level up. 😊
Watch out for the bosses around you. They might spank you in the beginning.
Soul Gorge
How to level here still remains the same as on Northwind Canyon.
You start on the map "Soul Gorge" from Champ Lv.5.
Again, you get on your mount and start destroying Metinstones.
While you hit the metin, pull the mobs around you with your cape as well.
You do this now until Champ Lv.10.
More mobs = More EXP = Faster level up. 😊
Northwind Shelter
Here you can level up the same as on the previous maps, but it will take you more time to level up.
There is a well known leveling place here, where it is supposed to be the "fastest" to level. I will explain you the way:
(The level place is made for min. two persons.)
You start on the map "Northwind Shelter" from Champ Lv.10.
- After a few steps you will stand in a large room with 4 possible paths.
- You use the leftmost path and follow it until you run towards a wall. (Pass the small bend at the beginning.)
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go right.
- You go to the right and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go right.
- You go to the right and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go left.
- You go to the left and follow the path further down until you run into a wall.
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go right.
- You go to the right and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go left.
- You go to the left and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You now see the wall and have the option to go left or right.
- You go to the right and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You now see the wall and have only the option to go right.
- You go to the right and follow the path until you run towards a wall.
- You are now standing in front of a "pillar". Directly to the right of you is the known level spot for the players.
Optionally, you can also use the map to help you. There are several ways to get to the level. The way I have described is the yellow / green marked.
If you minimize the mini-map (click on the - 2x in the upper right corner) you will see several corridors.
Looking down from the top, you just came out of 3rd corridor. (In the picture below on the right.)
Between the binding piece of the 2nd and 3rd corridor, 2 riders position themselves at the edge. One at the top of the edge to the 2nd corridor, one at the bottom of the edge to the 3rd corridor. (There are also columns where you can stand outside each to stand perfectly.)
- Pull and kill all monsters within range.
All others place themselves between the two riders and enjoy their lives.
Don't be an enjoyer... be a maker!!! Be the rider and hit!!!
Another tip: If it seems to you that too few mobs respawn, kill all the monsters in the corridor where you are standing, approximately. After that, they should all respawn normally again.
That's it. This is how you level up to Champ Lv. 30.😊 I hope I could help you with it. Have fun!
