Hello everyone,
today I'll show you again some more basics on Seishin – this time it's the Shoulder Sash System. Same as with the Dragon Stone Alchemy Guide, I have divided this guide into several questions that will guide you through the entire production and refinement of your Shoulder Sashes. I hope I can help you a little bit with this guide and wish you a lot of fun!
There are several ways of getting a Shoulder Sash in the first place, they are as follows:
- Crafting at Theowahdan on Map 1
- As a drop from dungeon bosses like Azrael, Beran-Setaou, Razador, Nemere, etc.
- In the Worldboss-Shop
- In the Item-Shop
- As a win from the Casino Manager
- In the Battlepass
- During events
The first option, the crafting at Theowahdan on Map 1, will be the main source for obtaining the Shoulder Sashes. The other options are also possible, but they are not really recommended, because you have to spend much more time (and money) to get a Shoulder Sash.
When making Shoulder Sashes, there are three alternative ways that you can use to craft a Shoulder Sash. For each of the different options, you will also need different items. You can see these options in the following table:
Item 1 |
Item 2 |
Item 3 |
|
---|---|---|---|
Alternative 1 | 50x Violet Fabric
|
50x Purple Dragon Steel
|
50x Noble Epaulette
|
Alternative 2 | 50x Golden Fabric
|
50x Blue Dragon Steel
|
50x Chain Link
|
Alternative 3 | 50x Red Fabric
|
50x Red Dragon Steel
|
50x Antique Epaulette
|
The best way to obtain these items is from the Metinstones on the Map Iceland. You can learn more about them in the Dropguide from Luzifer.
To do this, you need to visit Theowahdan on Map 1. Then click on Theowahdan and then on "Crafting (Lv. 90)".
Under the option "Accessory" you can now find all the Shoulder Sashes that you can craft. There are a total of 16 different Shoulder Sashes on Seishin, but they are only visually different from each other.
Now click on the Shoulder Sash of your choice, then select one of the options for crafting and your desired quantity and then click "OK". This process always works 100% and can therefore not fail. You can also recognize this by the text "(100%)" behind the name of the sash.
Congratulations, you now have your first 1% sash in your inventory! In the next step I will show you how to make a higher quality sash using these sashes.
Before I show you how we can refine the Shoulder Sash, I'll give you an overview of the different levels and absorption rates of the Shoulder Sashes.
Level |
Absorption grade min. |
Absorption grade max. |
---|---|---|
Basic
|
1% | 1% |
Fine
|
5% | 5% |
Noble
|
10% | 10% |
Custom
|
11% | 25% |
As you can see in the table, all levels except for the level "custom" have a fixed absorption rate. This level is the highest and, in the best case, has an absorption rate of 25%. This is, so to speak, the maximum that we want to achieve.
To do this, we first visit Theowahdan again on Map 1 and select the "Combination of sashes" option.
Now, in order to achieve this maximum, we must always combine two Sashes of the same level. For a 5% Sash we therefore need two 1% Sashes, which we must combine with each other. For a 10% Sash, we therefore need two 5% Sashes and for a custom Sash, we therefore need two 10% Sashes.
Unless the refinement process never fails and we directly get a custom Sash with a 25% pickup, we only need eight 1% Sashes to get a perfect Sash.
We can also combine different Sashes, as long as they have the same level. For example, a "Master Sash (basic)" can be combined with a "Royal Sash (basic)".
For Theowahdan in Map 1, we now select the option "Combination of Sashes" and click on "Yes". This opens a window in which we can now refine our Shoulder Sashes. Here we now place two Sashes of the same level in the window, whereupon a message appears. There we press "OK" and then "OK" again.
In the best case, the combining worked and we have a Sash with an improved level. Note that this process can fail. In addition, the lower Sash will be destroyed in any case when combining - so regardless of whether the process works or fails. Here is a short example again:
Sash |
Result at success |
Result at failure |
|
---|---|---|---|
Sash 1 | Royal Sash (basic)
|
Royal Sash (fine)
|
Royal Sash (basic)
|
Sash 2 | Master Sash (basic)
|
- | - |
We must now repeat this process until we have obtained a custom Sash. As already shown above, it can happen that we have a custom Sash, but it does not have a absorbion rate of 25%.
In this case, we can also combine several custom Sashes together to improve the absorption rate.
You can combine these custom Sashes in the same way as before, but the Sash with the higher absorption rate should be placed in the upper slot. If the process works, the absorption rate of the Sash in the upper slot will increase by up to 5% - but it is also possible that it works and the absorption rate of the Sash remains unchanged. This is of course also the case if the process fails.
Generally, only items (namely weapons and armor) up to level 115 can be absorbed into the Shoulder Sash. Items above level 115 cannot be absorbed into the Shoulder Sash.
For PvM, a Shoulder Sash with AVG makes sense. Accordingly, the Bloody-Rune Blade +9, which is the Lv 114 two-handed weapon +9, should be used for this (ATTENTION: THE BLOODY-PHOENIXBOW +9 CAN BE USED AS AN ALTERNATIVE OPTION!).
This should have at least 65 AVG and 20 STR, the rest of the bonuses depends heavily on the class played and the intended use. My weapon for the Shoulder Sash looks like this.
For the PVP area, two different alternatives are possible. On the one hand, it can make sense to use a weapon with AVG/SK and on the other hand, it is also possible to use an armor with the different resistances. This depends very much on the taste of the player.
To do this, you need to visit Theowahdan again with your item and Shoulder Sash. Then click on "Absorb bonuses". Now put the Shoulder Sash into the left slot and the item from which the bonuses are to be absorbed into the right slot. Now you have to click on "OK", whereupon the bonuses will be absorbed. This process works 100% and cannot fail. Note that your item, in this case the weapon, will disappear and you won't be able to use it as long as it is in the Shoulder Sash.
Here I have a small overview of the look of the different Shoulder Sash. Note that the Shoulder Sashes look different depending on the level and all Shoulder Sashes in the pictures have the level "custom". Another kiss goes out here to the lovely Mr. Elektro.
That should be it with my guide to the production and refinement of Shoulder Sash. If you have any further questions or suggestions for improvement, feel free to contact me ingame or via Discord.
Greetings, the Br0t.
